The idea behind my anonymization tool…

arose from a very practical situation in everyday HR work. I regularly use AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Claude, or Gemini to work more efficiently. I always faced the same problem: I had to anonymize texts like emails or labor law questions before I could enter them into an AI system – and there was no simple, fast, and truly privacy-compliant tool for this.

It was important to me to be able to use the benefits of AI without disclosing personal data – neither my own nor those of employees or other people who appear in my texts. The existing solutions were either too cumbersome, too slow, or not technically cleanly implemented. So I developed my own tool: easy to use, fast, and with 100% local processing directly in the browser.

My Mission

I want to help people use AI safely. Many unconsciously enter personal data into AI systems – often without knowing that this data can be stored or further processed. This is exactly where my tool comes in: It protects sensitive information before it even reaches an AI system.

What makes the tool special?

100% local processing

All data is processed exclusively in the browser. This means:

  • Your texts do not leave your device
  • No storage takes place
  • No server communication
  • Anonymization runs completely client-side
  • This makes the tool GDPR-compliant

A simple, secure solution – without detours.

Intelligent recognition

The tool automatically recognizes various types of personal data, including:

  • Names of people, companies, and places
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Postal addresses
  • Dates (e.g., birth dates)
  • Credit card numbers
  • IBANs and other banking data
  • And many other sensitive pieces of information

Easy to use

Usage is straightforward and free:

  1. Paste text
  2. Click "Anonymize"
  3. Copy anonymized text
  4. Use safely in AI tools

That's all it takes.

Why is privacy important?

The GDPR requires that personal data may only be processed with consent. Anyone who enters texts unfiltered into AI systems may transmit this data to third parties. The affected person often knows nothing about this and has never consented. With my tool, you can ensure that you use AI responsibly and in compliance with regulations.

Transparency & Openness

I believe in an open, transparent approach to data. Since everything runs locally in the browser, you can always trace what happens to your texts – namely exclusively what happens on your device.

Free and without registration

The tool is completely free and can be used immediately. No registration is necessary and you do not need to provide any personal data.
